Georgina attends the FOSTER Consortium

Thanks to a Travel Award from the Bone Cancer Research Trust, Georgina Wherry had the opportunity to attend the Foster Consortium Meeting, an international forum bringing together researchers dedicated to improving outcomes for osteosarcoma patients.

At the meeting, Georgina shared her PhD research investigating the mechanisms behind chemotherapy resistance in osteosarcoma and engaged with leading scientists and clinicians from across the field. The travel award provided a valuable opportunity to receive feedback on her work, learn about the latest advances in osteosarcoma research, and build collaborations that will help advance her research and its impact for patients.
